Natural remedies for 4 typical female beauty problems

Every woman knows that. Sometimes the hair cannot be tamed, the pimples sprout, the skin discolored or the lips are so dry that you think they are hanging in tatters. There are  natural remedies that can help.

Of course, there are one or the other remedy for such everyday beauty problems in the trade, but not all are harmless – and none of them are as cheap as the ingredients that nature provides for us!

Why natural remedies?

A proverb says: “A herb grows against every niggle” and that is exactly the case for cosmetics. “Mother Nature” has everything we need for the care of skin, hair and nails – made from purely vegetable sources. We just have to use it!

Synthetic products use cheap waste products from the petroleum industry, which are sold to us at a high price.

For example, “skin care oils” from many major brand manufacturers are just cheap, synthetic petroleum products mixed with other chemicals such as “skin softeners”, preservatives and silicones.

In addition, oils based on mineral oil are criticized for being carcinogenic due to certain ingredients. Some mineral oil-based personal care products contain paraffins. These do not penetrate the skin, but remain on the skin as a “lubricating film”.

Although this makes them pleasant to use, a care effect is not achieved by oils containing paraffin.

Mineral oils in the declaration of the ingredients are called: Cera Microcristallina, Ceresin, Mineralöl, Mineral Oil, Microcrystalline Wax, Ozokerite, Paraffine, Paraffinum Liquidum, Paraffinum Subliquidum, Petrolatum and Vaseline.

In contrast to paraffins , however, vegetable oils penetrate the skin very well and have a skin-caring effect. Therefore, you should not only resort to natural cosmetics, but more and more often to pure care substances from nature!

Split ends

Natural remedies for stubborn hair

Anyone who has frizzy hair knows this: Sometimes they are just hard to tame, are stubborn and stubborn, the curls don’t jump, the whole hairstyle looks more like a mop than a lion’s mane.

It is therefore important to restore the natural and healthy structure of the hair! Why not just buy a synthetic hair treatment?

Silicones are very popular in hair care products. Silicones are by-products of the petroleum industry and have the only advantage in hair care that they make the hair feel softer and silky in the short term.

However, this is not a real hair care product, as the silicones only wrap around the individual hair like a layer and do not supply them with nutrients.

This layer around the hair means that real nutrients can no longer reach the hair and it becomes brittle and dry, and split ends can occur.

With regular use, silicones also weigh down the hair because layer by layer is deposited on the hair. You don’t notice it, however, because the hair feels well cared for thanks to the silicone layer!

If you really want to take care of your hair, you must not use synthetic “care” substances. Such substances are generally prohibited in natural cosmetics. And not even in your kitchen cupboard!

Nourishing oils

Natural vegetable oils are a very simple way of caring for your hair, for example:

Oils

Olive oil is ideal for making fine curls pop! Since olive oil can have a coloring effect, it is not suitable for light hair!

Castor oil is traditionally used in Africa to add shine to frizzy hair. Caution: The oil is a bit tough and can discolour light hair!

Avocado oil is not only very effective in skin care, but also works very well against dry and brittle hair.

Almond oil is tolerated by all skin types and is also suitable for delicate baby skin. It pampers the hair with intensive care and a delicious fragrance.

Due to its texture, jojoba oil is very well suited to make curls jump and, with its sun protection factor 4, to protect your hair from UV radiation (and also salt water!).

Sesame oil is an all-rounder in beauty care in India, where women show the most impressive lengths of hair.

Lips

Natural remedies for rough lips

Please do not use a lip balm made from paraffins! Your lips only get a film of lubricant that makes them feel well cared for, but they are not cared for.

You have probably heard of the “lip balm addiction”.

There is actually something behind it, because lips “cared for” with paraffins do not get any active ingredients, just a nice feeling from the lip “care” pen! Therefore, please only use lip balm sticks or creams from natural cosmetics.

To rid rough lips of flakes of skin, you can do a sugar-coconut scrub that exfoliates and nourishes at the same time!

To do this, simply combine granulated sugar with a little coconut oil and stir until you have a spreadable paste. With this you can very effectively rub off dead skin and other impurities!

Deliciously fragrant and also so tasty to lick off! With coconut oil, it must be noted that pure coconut oil is gelatinous to solid in our latitudes and only begins to melt on the skin at body temperature.

aloe

Natural remedies for impurities

Aloe Vera is known for its excellent nourishing effects and healing properties on the skin. You should either have an aloe vera plant on the windowsill or a pure (!) Aloe vera gel at hand, because this plant can be used in many different ways in skin care.

Basically, it donates an incredible amount of moisture. Their nourishing ingredients also ensure that wounds or other skin injuries or skin irritations such as sunburns heal faster.

Tea tree oil is known worldwide for its antibacterial properties. Combine these two ingredients into a face mask that works well against pimples by clearing the skin and allowing pimples to heal.

To do this, simply stir a few drops of tea tree oil with aloe vera gel, apply the mask thickly to your face and wash it off after 20 minutes.

lemon

Home remedies for discolored skin

If you’ve processed foods that stain strongly, such as dark red berries, beetroot, salsify, or other foods that stain, the skin on your fingers is often discolored. Color residues can also show up at the hairline when you dye your hair.

The nails can also be discolored with food during kitchen work. Rub it thoroughly with lemon juice and let it sit. The lemon juice will bleach the plant color out of your skin.
