For reasons of hygiene and safety, the bathroom must be cleaned and disinfected regularly and thoroughly. It is advisable to clean the bathroom several times a week with an agent that prevents the spread of harmful microorganisms.

Today’s post is about white vinegar, which is not only very popular in gastronomy, but is also an excellent cleaning agent.

1. Cleaning the toilet

An easy way  to keep the toilet nice and white and to remove possible pathogens is to clean it with white vinegar, which should be used liberally for this.

  • 1 cup of white vinegar (250 ml)

What should I do?

  • Sprinkle the vinegar on the surfaces of the toilet and let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Then rub well with a brush and rinse off.

2. Clean the mirror

The mirror in the bathroom is clogged with dust, splashed toothpaste and other stains.

You can use  white vinegar and water  and save yourself the glass cleaner. This home remedy then works at least as well as commercially available products.

  • 1/2 cup white vinegar (125 ml)
  • 1/2 cup of water (125 ml)
  • 1 spray bottle
  • Newsprint

  • Mix the vinegar with the water and then pour it into a spray bottle.
  • Spray it on the mirrors and then remove the residue with newspaper.

3. Cleaning the bathtub

The bathtub becomes soiled every time it is used, but it can easily be brought to a shine again:  Diluted vinegar or a mixture with a little baking soda can then be very useful.

  • 1/2 cup white vinegar (125 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon of baking soda (10 g)
  • 1 sponge

4. Clean the tiles

5. Cleaning the taps

  • 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup vinegar (125 ml)
  • 1 used toothbrush

  • Squeeze the lemon to get the juice. Mix this with the vinegar and then use it to brush the taps.
  • Then remove the residue with a cloth and the faucets will shine perfectly.

6. Clean the sink

Bacteria also accumulate in the sink  and remain after brushing your teeth or washing your hands.
