  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 stalk of celery (30 g)
  • 10 stalks of parsley (5 g)
  • 200 g potatoes
  • 2 cloves of garlic (2.5 g)
  • 2 chicken breasts (250 g)
  • 200 g carrots
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (100 g)
  • 1 teaspoon mustard (5 g)
  • Black pepper and salt (to taste)

  1. First you peel the carrots and potatoes.
  2. Then you boil both of them in salt water.
  3. After 8 minutes you can remove the carrots from the boiling water. The potatoes need a little more cooking time.
  4. Now add the whole celery and parsley to the pot.
  5. The potatoes require a total of 20 to 25 minutes to cook. To see if they’re done, take a knife and use it to prick a potato. As soon as it comes off the knife easily, the potatoes are done.
  6. Now you can finely chop the garlic.
  7. Then you put the chicken breasts in another saucepan with water and add onion and garlic.
  8. Now add the bay leaf and a little salt to the pot and bring the water with the chicken and the ingredients to a boil. As soon as it boils, turn the temperature down to the lowest level. Let everything simmer for another 15 minutes.
  9. Once the potatoes and carrots are cooked, you can cut them into small pieces. Do the same with the chicken breasts once they’re cooked.
  10. Finally, put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix them with the mayonnaise and mustard. Give the salad a good stir.

  • 1/2 cucumber (30 g)
  • 1/2 green salad (100 g)
  • 2 tomatoes (120 g)
  • 2 mandarins (60 g)
  • 1 chicken breast (100 g)
  • 50 g corn (1/2 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon of honey (5 ml)
  • 30 g grated cheese (1/4 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (5 ml)
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil (10 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (5 ml)

  1. First, wash the tomatoes, cucumber, and lettuce thoroughly.
  2. Split the lettuce leaves and cut the tomatoes and cucumber into small pieces. Then mix everything in a bowl.
  3. Now you put the chicken breast under a hot grill, add a tablespoon of olive oil and turn the meat regularly until it is well cooked.
  4. When the meat is done, you put it on a platter and cut it into small pieces. So you can check again that it is really well done. If you find that the chicken breast is not completely done, just put these pieces under the grill again.
  5. After all the meat is ready, you can peel the mandarins and separate the individual pieces of fruit. Then you cut everything into small pieces so that the juice runs out and mixes wonderfully with the salad. The fruit juice gives the chicken salad a very special touch!

Preparation of the dressing and completion of the salad

Once everything is prepared, you can put the meat, tangerines, vegetables, corn, and grated cheese in a bowl. Now prepare the dressing in a small bowl. To do this, mix a tablespoon of olive oil with lemon juice, honey and the apple cider vinegar.
